Journalist and social activist Orly Noy has been selected for the fifth spot on the Balad party list. Noy is an editor and writer for the 'Local Call' website and serves as chair of the board of B'Tselem. For the first time in the party's history, Balad has selected a Jewish candidate in its primaries.
