Solberg orders Ben-Gvir to remove video of him visiting prison alongside prison guards

|
Central Elections Committee Chairman Judge Noam Solberg ordered National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to remove a video he posted earlier this week, in which the minister made statements directed at convicted terrorist Hassan Salameh during a visit to the prison. This comes as prison guards appear in the video. Solberg determined that the video's content constitutes election propaganda: "The minister boasted about his actions, described his political plan for the future and conveyed a personal message that only the minister is the one who deters." Additionally, Solberg ordered Ben-Gvir to pay personal expenses out of his own pocket, alongside expenses to be paid by his party, in the amount of 20,000 shekels, in equal parts.
