Haifa resident Liam Sherut (25) was killed in a road accident while traveling in Koh Samui, Thailand. Liam was a Dean's List student for three consecutive years in the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering at the Technion. Her mother, Merav, wrote on Facebook: "The sky has fallen on me. My little daughter Liami, my pride and joy, was killed in a road accident in Thailand. My heart is broken."
