U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that officials from the State Department are in Malaysia to assist in peace efforts between Cambodia and Thailand. According to Rubio, the parties have scheduled talks today aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement. "President Donald Trump and Rubio are in contact with their counterparts in both countries and are closely following developments," said a statement from the State Department on Rubio's behalf. "We want this confrontation to end as quickly as possible."
