The Foreign Ministry advised Israeli tourists to avoid staying near the border crossings between Cambodia and Thailand due to confrontations between the two countries and security escalation in the region. "We recommend avoiding travel to and staying in the border area between the two countries – particularly in the provinces of northeastern Thailand and northwestern Cambodia, and to follow security instructions as they are published," the statement said. Thailand's Ministry of Health reported that 11 people have been killed so far in attacks by the Cambodian military.
