The Lod District Court convicted a youth of manslaughter under terrorism circumstances for throwing stones at the head of Aisha al-Rabi (43), a mother of eight, causing her death in October 2018. The youth was 16 at the time of the act and is now 24. Two of three judges convicted him of manslaughter under terrorism circumstances, and he is expected to appeal to the Supreme Court. Al-Rabi, from the village of Bidya in the West Bank, was killed in October 2018 near Tapuach Junction after the car she was traveling in was pelted with stones. Her husband, Yacoub, who was traveling with her, was injured in the incident. Following the incident, five Jewish youths were arrested but charges were filed against only one of them. The young man's name is still under a publication ban.
