A key member of the ShinyHunters hacker group, which is suspected of breaching the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) online job portal, was arrested earlier this week in Jordan. This was reported by Reuters news agency, citing three sources involved in the case. Two of the sources indicated that the suspect is cooperating with the FBI in an effort to help identify his accomplices. The FBI declined to comment on a specific arrest or any activity abroad, but stated that the bureau "continues to vigorously investigate the recent cyber incident." The hackers' breach may have resulted in the theft of personal information of thousands of FBI agents and their family members.
