Khamenei's adviser: 'I think a new war will break out, we are not in a ceasefire now'

|
Yahya Rahim Safavi, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said he "thinks a new war will break out and perhaps afterward there won't be another one." According to him, "The U.S. and Israel believe peace must be achieved through force, Iran for its part must be strong. Military personnel are developing scenarios, seeing the possibilities and preparing a plan for the worst-case scenario." He added: "We are not in a ceasefire right now. We are in a stage of war and it could collapse at any moment. There is no agreement between us and the Israelis and Americans."
