The Population and Immigration Authority stated that "following the publications from this evening, we clarify that the figure published - that 1,200 crew members from hostile countries landed in Israel is not a figure that was provided or confirmed by the Population and Immigration Authority. For the avoidance of doubt, crew members or passengers in general who hold citizenship from a country defined as an enemy state do not enter Israel." Earlier it was published that in a discussion at the Intelligence Subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that took place today, it was revealed that 1,240 aviation crew members from countries with which Israel has no relations entered Israel in the past year. Among those crew members were also Syrian and Lebanese citizens.
