Maccabi Haifa announced the return of Barak Bachar to the position of head coach. Bachar returns for a third term at the club just five months after being fired. Bachar signed a contract for three seasons until summer 2028, and will return with his original staff - including Guy Tzarfati who will again serve as his assistant. Five months ago, he was fired after a 5:1 derby defeat by Hapoel Haifa, but now the team has decided to bring him back following the dismissal of Diego Flores, who was appointed in the summer.
