IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin said at a press conference that 'Hezbollah has been severely damaged in Operation Northern Arrows and has tried to recover along the way. Hezbollah is weak, and we continue to strike it hard.' Regarding Northern Command Chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo's statements about Hezbollah's disarmament not being among the war objectives, Defrin said: 'The Chief of Staff backs him, the command is achieving excellent results in the current fighting. Ultimately, Hezbollah's disarmament is a supreme goal, both military and political. We will not give up on that, and we are acting precisely according to the definitions set by the political echelon.'
