Hostage survivor Alon Ohel performs with soldier wounded on Oct. 7: 'In captivity I could only dream of this'

Hostage survivor Alon Ohel performed the song 'Song Without a Name' at the Presidential Awards of Excellence ceremony, which was pre-recorded, together with Golani Brigade fighter Dvir Bubliil, who was critically wounded on October 7. Ohel shared: 'When I was there 50 meters underground, tied by my legs, looking exactly like a corpse - I could only dream of these moments, to sit here on Independence Day and play for you.' Bubliil shared about the difficult struggle after his injury and about the feeling of loss alongside the desire to rehabilitate: 'I woke up to a very big heartbreak of nine friends who fell without me knowing, including the guy I treated under fire. Thank God, I rehabilitated, and I am still rehabilitating - and I managed to return to playing.'
