At the outstanding soldiers ceremony at the President's House, it was revealed that hostage survivor Mia Leimberg, who was released after 53 days in Gaza, is among 120 outstanding soldiers. The description of her selection stated: "A graduate of the Intelligence Corps training program, currently serving in communications in the Air Force. Upon her release from captivity and return to Israel, she chose to enlist for meaningful service in the IDF and integrate into the Air Force's technological-operational system. She is valued by her commanders as a high-quality and professional soldier who represents a symbol of courage, choosing life and uncompromising contribution."
