Mexico has extradited 26 senior cartel members to the United States who were imprisoned in the country for drug trafficking, Mexican authorities reported. The Wall Street Journal reported that these were cartel members wanted in the US. This comes after reports last weekend that US President Donald Trump secretly signed an order directing the American military to fight drug cartels in Latin America. This is the second time in recent months that cartel members have been extradited from Mexico to the US, after 29 were transferred in February.
