The IDF has notified residents of the Tulkarm and Nur al-Shams refugee camps of its intention to demolish approximately 100 buildings in the camps, prompting those who left to hurriedly return to collect their belongings. About 60 buildings in Tulkarm and 40 buildings in Nur al-Shams are slated for demolition, ynet has learned. Security officials clarified that there is an operational need to demolish the buildings in order to create safe roads for forces in the area. All relevant bodies are participating in the operation.
