The wording includes a commitment from mediators to prevent the resumption of fighting as long as talks continue during the 60-day ceasefire, with the aim of achieving a permanent ceasefire and complete gradual withdrawal of Israel from the Gaza Strip. However, another source close to Hamas clarified that there are no substantial changes compared to the previous proposal formulated by mediator Wikotoff about a month ago – except for "minor technical" changes.
