The Democrats party petitioned the High Court of Justice demanding that Shin Bet chief Roni Bar and the government provide security for party leader Yair Golan. The party said that "Golan remains without security, even though the police define the threat level against him as high. Yair Golan is exposed to dozens of concrete, explicit and chilling murder threats, and every day that passes without security leaves the petitioner as cannon fodder." The Democrats said that a document detailing the threats directed at Golan was attached to the petition. In addition to him, Yisrael Beitenu leader Gadi Eisenkot also remains without security.
