Police Commissioner Danny Levi is considering suspending former Judea and Samaria District Commander, Chief Superintendent Avishai Moalem, once again following wiretaps conducted by the Police Internal Investigations Department that were revealed on i24NEWS. The recordings exposed his connection to National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, amid the "Ben Gvir associates" affair in which he is a suspect. Moalem was previously suspended from his position after being suspected of deliberately preventing the arrest of far-right activists suspected of Jewish terrorism in the West Bank, in exchange for his promotion within the police force.
