Kuwait's Ministry of Defense confirmed the attacks against the country earlier, following reports of explosions heard. "Three land border posts in the north of the country were hit by a hostile attack, which caused material damage," the statement read, in which Iran was not mentioned at all. Additionally, it was stated that "an offshore drilling rig belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, located in Kuwait's territorial waters, was targeted by a hostile drone attack. This attack caused material damage and injured a worker, who is now receiving the necessary medical treatment."
