National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir condemned the rioting by extreme ultra-Orthodox groups in Jerusalem, stating that "attacks on police officers by lawbreaking citizens is a red line." According to him, "I strengthen and support the officers of the Israel Police, who work day and night with dedication and determination to protect the security of Israeli citizens and public order."
