The Be'er Sheva District Court released Ibrahim Algaribi, a Negev resident suspected of providing election bribes intended to encourage citizens to vote for Ra'am, without restrictive conditions. Algaribi is the last suspect in the affair to be released. Judge Eran Tzabari noted that 'the investigating unit had difficulty presenting an evidentiary basis that incriminates the suspect in committing the offenses attributed to him. Despite the comments provided in my decision and in the appeal, the investigating unit has not advanced the case, nor have I heard that genuine efforts were made to examine the respondent's own claim.'
