Israel to open first embassy in Estonia: 'Expression of ongoing cooperation and friendship'

Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that Israel will open its first embassy in Estonia. Saar made the statement during meetings in the Estonian capital Tallinn with Prime Minister Kristen Michal and Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. "Estonia is a full member of the European Union, NATO and other international organizations, and is one of the world's leading countries in the high-tech sector. Estonia is considered a global pioneer in digital governance," it was reported. "We look forward to strengthening relations with Estonia. Opening the embassy is an expression of our ongoing cooperation and friendship, and we will do so soon."
