Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar commanded the strikes in Syria from the Air Force command bunker in the Kirya. In dozens of attacks, more than 100 missiles and bombs were dropped from fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles on vehicles, tanks and armored personnel carriers of Syrian regime forces. According to initial IDF assessments, the main headquarters of the Syrian army, located in Damascus, was severely damaged or destroyed.
