A kite suspected to have come from Gaza was found today within the grounds of Kibbutz Nahal Oz in the Gaza border area, following another kite discovered in fields near the kibbutz two weeks ago. The kites appear to be 'innocent' and contain no explosive or flammable material. However, in the past, during the period preceding the 'kite terror,' such kites originating from Gaza were initially found – followed by additional ones carrying flammable materials that caused fires in the border area. The Gaza Division issued a message to residents stating that 'the kite was taken by military forces for examination and the matter is being investigated.'
