Israel Airports Authority warns: 'Don't use private parking services at Ben Gurion Airport'

|
The Israel Airports Authority has issued a public warning against using private valet parking services offered to visitors arriving at Ben Gurion Airport, recommending that the public arrive by public transportation or use the official parking facilities operated by the Israel Airports Authority. The authority stated that "private entities advertising parking and pickup services, claiming that 'parking is at Ben Gurion, at the airport or adjacent to the terminal' - are not entities authorized by the authority to operate at the airport in this capacity. Moreover, complaints have been received from passengers who used such services regarding damage caused to their vehicles, receiving traffic tickets and fines, and difficulties in receiving a response from the entity to whom they entrusted their vehicle.
