Defense Minister Israel Katz spoke at a graduation ceremony at the National Security College and addressed the war with Iran. "To secure the achievements of Operation Rising Lion our challenge is clear: to ensure Iran cannot return to threatening our citizens," he said. "We must formulate an enforcement plan to prevent Iran from renewing the capabilities it had before the operation. The Iranians will try in every way to learn lessons and recover. The enemy is learning and preparing - and our challenge is to upgrade our capabilities so that we won't be surprised." Regarding the fighting in Gaza, Katz said: "The goal before us throughout the maneuver in the Gaza Strip is clear - to return all the hostages and ensure that Hamas will not be here."
