Condition of 9-year-old who contracted amoeba in Sea of Galilee remains critical

The condition of the nine-year-old boy from Pardes Hanna, Baruch Neria, who contracted a 'brain-eating amoeba' (Naegleria fowleri) after swimming at Kursi Beach in the Sea of Galilee, remains very serious. Neria is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, sedated and on a ventilator.
