Defense Minister Israel Katz delivered remarks at the state memorial ceremony for the fallen of Operation Kadesh at Mount Herzl, claiming that "the mission against Iran has not been completed" and calling for unity: "Iran is trying to renew its efforts to obtain nuclear weapons, alongside other serious efforts that put the State of Israel in real danger. We cannot reconcile with these threats. Facing the great missions still ahead of us, we must be united - this is a time of unity, of responsibility and of mutual guarantee." According to him, "to meet the great missions, we will need all the strength of the IDF and all the resilience of the people."
