Representatives of high schools striking in protest for the release of hostages spoke at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. Avigail Regev, an 11th-grade student, addressed Education Minister Yoav Kish: "Please stop the normalization. We will not live quietly in a country that abandons 48 of our brothers and sister for nearly 700 days." Gilad Schwartz, a 12th-grade student, said: "We came to remind that power is not a lofty goal but a means to maintain the true just goal, the sanctity of life and security."
