Emirati aluminum manufacturer Emirates Global Aluminium announced that full restoration of production at the Al Taweelah smelting facility could take up to a year after it was hit in an Iranian attack in late March. The company also reported significant damage in the Khalifa Economic Zone in Abu Dhabi and that the Al Taweelah site, which also includes a power plant, was completely evacuated. Additionally, the company noted that its facilities underwent an emergency shutdown.
