Lithuanian leader expected to order UTJ to leave government 'if no change occurs'

|
Amid lack of progress in the military exemption law crisis, the Lithuanian stream leader Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch is expected to instruct the entire United Torah Judaism party to leave the government unless dramatic change occurs, sources close to the rabbi said. This comes against the backdrop of Agudat Israel and Degel HaTorah members' proposal to jointly submit a motion to dissolve the Knesset. Earlier today, Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf's chief of staff and Gur Hasidic strongman Moti Babchik met with National Unity Party chairman MK Benny Gantz to discuss the coalition's turmoil.
