The United States Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said in an interview with Bloomberg that "the U.S. no longer wholeheartedly supports a Palestinian state." According to him, "If such a state is established, it could be in another region of the Middle East that is not Judea and Samaria." He suggested that a Muslim country should offer its own territory to the Palestinians - and there a Palestinian state would be established. Huckabee also said: "As long as there are no significant changes, there is no place for it (a Palestinian state)." In his assessment, the establishment of such a state will not happen "in our lifetime," as he put it.
