7 firefighting teams from the Tiberias station and two firefighting aircraft are working to extinguish a large fire that broke out in an open area between the settlements of Tfahot and Merar in the Upper Galilee, according to Fire and Rescue Services. They further reported that 'this is a relatively large fire spreading on multiple fronts due to strong winds in the area. Firefighters and firefighting aircraft are working to stop the fire from spreading toward the residential line and nearby greenhouses.'
