Norwegian Ronny Deila (50) has been appointed as the new coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv football club, replacing Žarko Lazetic who was fired after the derby loss. Deila, who previously coached Celtic and Club Brugge, signed for a season and a half with an option for an additional season. His salary is expected to be €600,000 per season. Kenny Miller and Kenneth Docken will join the coaching staff as Deila's assistants.
