Israel Railways announced that amid disruptions that have continued for almost a week, it was decided "to take advantage of the opportunity" and incorporate safety works originally planned for September. As part of these works, train service between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Savidor Center stations will be suspended starting tomorrow for six days - and Hashalom Station will temporarily close. "This move is designed to prevent a double impact - both now and in a few weeks," the company stated. Accordingly, trains from the south will reach only Lod, trains from Jerusalem and Modi'in will reach only Ben Gurion Airport, and trains from the north will reach only Tel Aviv Savidor Center.
