Two helicopters collided and crashed in an agricultural field in the state of Oregon in the U.S., near a small airfield southwest of Portland. All three people aboard the helicopters were killed in the crash: Maddy Esbo, a 22-year-old flight instructor from Texas; Tyler Sturdivant, a 38-year-old pilot from Oregon; and a flight student from Britain whose name has not yet been released. This was reported by local Sheriff Sam Elliott. One of the aircraft came from the flight school Jerry Trimble Helicopters, which offers introductory flights and advanced training. The school stated that it is cooperating with authorities to secure the scene and determine the circumstances of the collision.
