Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz announced his withdrawal from running in the upcoming elections. "I will not run in the upcoming elections, I will continue to fight for unity," he said. "This is the only solution that will prevent another disaster and preserve Israel in the face of all challenges from within and without." Gantz will deliver a statement to the media at Kfar Hamaccabiah at 8:00 p.m. this evening following his decision not to run. Last week Gantz said: "In order to fight our enemies I must fight for unity among us, and therefore I am running to the end."
