IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, spoke with women from the "Alert Mother" organization who protested outside his home against the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. According to them, Lt. Gen. Zamir spoke with them when he arrived at his home today, for the first time since they began protesting there, after one of the women shouted at him, "Our sons are dying! Get our boys out of Gaza! Why are they there?" One of the mothers said that "he looked us in the eyes - and understood our cry and concern." According to another mother, Zamir promised that he would "work" toward ending the war soon.
