Palestinians reported that IDF forces arrested a Nablus resident, searched several homes and evacuated families during an operation in the city's Kasbah. According to reports, "The forces have been imposing a siege on the Old City for about nine hours. They deployed snipers in the city center and raided several commercial shops." The IDF confirmed that a military operation is being conducted in the city and said its purpose is "to maintain the army's full freedom of operation in the Nablus Kasbah and to gather intelligence, as well as to remove posters that support terrorism."
