The Qatari Foreign Ministry summoned the Iranian ambassador to Doha, Saleh Abadi, following yesterday's attack on the Al-Udeid base in the country, where thousands of U.S. military troops are stationed. Qatar informed the ambassador that the attack "is not in line with the principle of good neighborliness and close relations between the two countries," and added that it "reserves the right to respond in a manner consistent with international law."
