Israel Railways has concluded 2025 as an all-time record year, with 71.8 million journeys. This represents an increase of about 10% compared to the previous year. Tel Aviv HaShalom station was the busiest with 17.2 million passengers, followed by Savidor Central, Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon and Tel Aviv University. The year also included daily and monthly records: on December 21, the highest number of passengers ever was recorded with 376,000 passengers in one day, and December saw a monthly record of 7.3 million journeys. The railway expects further growth in 2026, with expansion of tracks and infrastructure improvements.
