Moriah Dahan (35), an Israeli living in California, has been charged with illegally voting in the 2024 US presidential election despite only holding a green card. According to the US Department of Justice, Moriah Dahan registered to vote after presenting herself as an American citizen, and a year later, when she applied for citizenship, she declared that she had never claimed to be a US citizen or registered to vote. Dahan has been indicted for making false statements in the naturalization process. She is one of 63 people against whom the Department of Justice has announced charges for election-related offenses.
