White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt wrote on X that "the US has frozen visa procedures for 75 countries." According to Fox News, the measure applies to immigration visas and affects, among others, applications from citizens of Somalia, Russia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Thailand and Yemen.
