U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Hackaby issued a statement criticizing American media outlets over what he described as "misinformation" about events in the Gaza Strip based on Hamas sources. In the statement, Hackaby accused the media of "contributing to an antisemitic climate" that led to two attacks in Washington D.C. and Colorado. "The New York Times, CNN and AP reported that people seeking humanitarian food aid were shot or killed by the IDF. These reports were false," he wrote.
