Fire and Rescue Services reported that 98 firefighting teams are working to contain the fire spread before winds intensify in the Jerusalem Hills region during late afternoon hours. According to Fire and Rescue, there are currently several active fire sites including: Latrun, Burma Road, Eshtaol, Mesilat Zion, Taoz, Canada Park, Sha'ar HaGai, Kedoshim Forest and Shoresh. During firefighting operations, 21 firefighters were lightly injured. It was also reported that firefighting aircraft from Italy, Croatia and Britain are expected to arrive in the afternoon hours.
