The IDF Spokesperson announced that in accordance with the security assessment, during the Sukkot holiday, hikers will not be permitted to enter training areas (firing zones) in northern Israel, in the following regions: Golan Heights, Carmel, Menashe Heights and Netofah areas. The IDF asks the public not to enter the restricted areas and to allow security forces to continue carrying out their missions. Entering a military area without prior coordination and approval endangers the safety of hikers.
