The home of Rabbi Dov Lando, leader of the Lithuanian-Haredi community, has announced that "after the wording of the law presented tonight to Haredi Knesset members exceeds what was agreed upon and what was promised by the Likud and the coalition, Degel HaTorah will leave the coalition and the government. Lando spoke tonight with Degel HaTorah Knesset members about the magnitude of responsibility resting on their shoulders and the sanctification of God's name in their steadfast stance for Torah students, and instructed them to withdraw immediately."
