Skiboky Stora, 42, who tore down hostage posters and threatened a Jewish couple in November 2023 in New York, was sentenced to nine years in prison for a series of hate crimes. This was reported by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. The couple spotted him in Union Square, and authorities noted that Stora followed them and shouted antisemitic slurs, including 'Die, Jews'. According to the prosecution, he was involved in additional assaults between September 2023 and March 2024: in the Chelsea neighborhood, he struck a 17-year-old boy in the neck with his elbow; and in other incidents, he attacked a 37-year-old woman and assaulted a 23-year-old woman. In February, he was convicted of several offenses, including assault and aggravated harassment.
