Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the establishment of an "advisory committee to examine the operations of Army Radio station." Katz, who noted that the committee will submit its recommendations within 90 days, explained that "during prolonged operations on multiple fronts, we need to re-examine how well the station fulfills its mission and succeeds in serving as a voice and ear for IDF soldiers and fighters on the frontline and home front." Katz further stated: "There is no doubt that comprehensive and significant change is needed and I intend to implement it after receiving the committee's recommendations." He announced that the committee will be headed by retired Major General Yiftach Ron-Tal.
