Talks between the US and Iran on a new nuclear deal have reached a "standstill," according to a report in the "New York Times." Meanwhile, the "Washington Post" reported that the sixth round of talks between the parties, scheduled for this coming Sunday in Oman's capital Muscat, will apparently not take place. This was noted to the "Post" by two American administration officials.
